Removing newsletter subscribing block
(posted 19/1/2010 by marcom_n)
We have removed the newsletter subscribing block from the left panel. We have seen some rubbish email addresses being subscribed by bots. Subsequently, we generally would not send newsletters from now on. We suggest customers subscribe to our RSS feeds instead. For IE 8 users, browse to our front page, click the RSS button and select the feed you are interested in. When you click on "Favorites" on the left, you can then subscribe to the feeds. For Firefox users, browse to our front page and click on the RSS button on the address bar to subscribe:
Last but not least, our twitter contents are pretty light weighted. So if you a twitter user, please follow our tweets.

Dropshipping fee implied by our supplier
(posted 30/10/2008 by marcom_n)
From 1 November 2008, our dropshipping supplier will add $5 (ex GST) processing fee for all the drop shipping orders no matter the size of the order. We regret to pass the fee to the customers due to the reason that the margins on the dropshipping orders are already very low. For the orders we received and processed before 1 Nov. ie. we process the order before the drop shipping fee is charged to us, we will remove the drop shipping fee from the order. Our back end for adding the drop shipping fee has been implemented on 30 Oct.

EYO's Guide to WiFi Technology
(posted 08/6/2007 by marcom)
When most people think of networking these days, Wi-Fi is often the first thing to spring to mind. Like Bluetooth, the concept of wireless, always-on connectivity definitely carries the "cool" factor. So what actually lies under the wireless hood? Wi-Fi is essentially wireless LAN technology, as defined by the various IEEE 802.11 standards. It was first defined in 1997, but a lack of standardisation effectively prevented any widespread implementation of the technology. There are quite a few ratified standards, all amendments to the legacy standard, but by far the most popular and widely-used are 802.11a, 802.11b and 802.11g. The newest standard is 802.11n, but this has yet to the ratified. Go to the Guide: http://www.eyo.com.au/info_ID_67.html Tell us topics you're interested in and we'll write a guide about it!
